The journey began with a deep curiosity for technology and a knack for problem-solving. But without a degree or extensive experience, finding fulfilling work has always been a struggle. On top of that, ADHD, social anxiety, and supporting a family added to the pressure. While moving between many dead-end jobs, I'd always find satisfaction in helping colleagues, friends, and family with their tech issues.

I always display a strong work ethic, no matter the job role, but for some reason, that enthusiasm usually faded within a year or so. Things shifted after starting an account rep position for a telecom company. The role opened my eyes to potential careers within the tech industry. Switching to a tech rep position allowed me to troubleshoot mobile devices, giving me a sense of satisfaction from solving technical problems for others.

I now realize that true fulfillment comes from doing work that aligns with my natural gifts. After tons of self-evaluation, that means system administration and software development—maintaining systems and creating technology to solve real-world problems and make a difference. I'm excited to grow, learn, and positively impact this world. Sharing my story may also help others find their path to fulfillment.
